Goblin | 韩剧《孤单又灿烂的神 - 鬼怪》
After watching latest episode of Legend of The Blue Sea starred by Jeon Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho,I bumped into a new K-drama "Goblin" while waiting for next week's episode of LOTBS. I normally read some storyline about the drama before watching every of it.I found that these two dramas are around the theme of past and present life.Maybe is the trending theme around Korean drama for this year?Btw,past and present life or reincarnation themed story background always good for audience to rack their brains for the plot instead of appearance of K-Pop stars as cameo in certain dramas.

Main Actors
Gong Yoo as Kim Shin/General in Goryeo era
- He is the 939 years old immortal goblin and also the protector of souls.He became a goblin because it was a punishment of God,only the destined goblin bride will able to remove the sword from his body to end his immortality and rest in peace.
Lee Dong Wook as Wang Yeol
- A good looking grim reaper who forgets his past life.He was once the Goryeo era's King and was believe of the sin with him on past life made him an amnesiac person.
Kim Go Eun as Ji Eun Tak

#1 The script was written by Kim Eun Suk,also well known by other dramas that under her production such as The Heirs, Descendants of The Sun, Secret Garden, A Gentleman's Dignity.Most of them won awards and popular among Asia countries.Indeed a reason not to miss this drama !
#2 A big return of Gong Yoo to drama since 2013's Big, he hadn't in a TV role for years.This year he took part in 3 movies,better well known for his appearance as main role in zombie blockbuster,Train to Busan.
#3 The supernatural & fantasy plot twisted story.
This actually the reason made me stick on sofa to watch it for days.It managed to have my curiosity to unveil the mystery of what happened to the lead roles in their past life.Pretty sure there will be unexpecting storyline after the mystery reveal.
#4 The cinematography and special effect visuals in it did gave me a movie vibes when watching it.You can expect that for each episode as it really quite a point to enhance your visual experience.
#5 Romance between the two major couples(Goblin + Eun Tak | Wang Yeol + Sunny )
Who doesn't need romance in a drama? Although Goblin's romance will be the main focus of all audience,but the interaction of Wang Yeol and Sunny will definitely let you hungering for more of their relationship of past life during Goryeo era.
